EMpress Orchid

yesterday i spent 12 hours reading throught the ant-sized words in this book called Orchid Empress.
Borrowed that from michelle, thinking of taking 2 days to finish. Suprisingly digested the content in one day.
there is one paragraph the interest me a lot, of how the Empress think of her own race, the Manchurian.

*The new generation of Manchurian is raised to become one group of lazy and perceive the world with the idea that that they deserve the privelage in everything..*

I am no historian but more or less, i think the above statement is what brought the Manchurian dynasty to and end...can't help but starting to relate this with the situation here in Malaysia,...or even some other countries like Australia. The other races who are more hardworking in intruding into their privilege...

Well, back to the empress. What is good about this book is that it helps to generate another view onto some of the things that the Empress do..Not all with bad intention..At least different from what i learn before of this lady.
